Our founder, Eugene Shkolnikov, was born and raised in Kharkiv, Ukraine, before moving to the United States at the age of 17. Since that time, Eugene has worked tirelessly to create success for those in his community. In 2000, Eugene launched his career in financial planning to educate and guide others who share a similar mission. Seven years later, he partnered with Michael Shafir, a fellow immigrant from the former Soviet Union. A former financial analyst and equity trader on Wall Street, Michael’s penchants for complex investment management and strategic business planning evolved into a niche for helping business owners achieve sophisticated yet straightforward financial planning. Together, Eugene’s street smarts and Michael’s book smarts have led them to create one of the country’s leading wealth management firms.
